ATTENTION
Marines and Navy Corpsmen who served with Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines during the Vietnam War 1965-70
You are invited to become a Member of the 1st Marine Division Association and a Member of the Echo Company 2/7 Vietnam Veterans Chapter of the 1st Marine Division Association.
The purpose of the Echo Company 2/7 Vietnam Veterans Chapter is listed as follows:
A. To form a Unit Chapter of the 1st Marine Division Association in conformance with the principles and articles of the 1st Marine Division Association, a non-profit corporation, organized under the laws of the State of New York.
B. To preserve incidents and memories of our Echo Company 2/7 Vietnam Veterans Unit Chapter and of the 1st Marine Division.
C. To foster, encourage, and perpetuate the memory and the spirit of the comradeship in arms of members of our Echo Company 2/7 Vietnam Veterans Unit Chapter and the 1st Marine Division.
D. To support the active duty Marines and Sailors serving in Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment , 1st Marine Division.
E. To promote and enhance patriotism and love of country.
F. To promote and safeguard the principles of justice.
G. To perpetuate the spirit and traditions of the United States Marine Corps.
H. To promote and cultivate social communications and fellowship among all members.
I. To hold meetings and social gatherings for the better understanding of the above named purposes.
If you are interested in becoming a Member of the 1st Marine Division Association and a Member of the Echo Company 2/7 Vietnam Veterans Chapter of the 1st Marine Division Association, email Jimmy L. Clendennen, Chapter Secretary, at Echo27VietnamChapter@hotmail.com with your name and address for Association and Chapter Membership Applications. If you are already an Association Member just ask for a Chapter Membership Application.
